This year, ANUS will be running a weekend beginners trip for all those who want to learn to ski or snowboard. 4 qualified instructors will teach you all you need to fire up your passion for shredding this season.
What it is: A cheap way for beginners to get involved in snow sports.
What is included: 2 day lift pass, equipment hire, accommodation, transport and lessons.
Cost:
2 day lift pass - $151
Equipment hire - $50-$70
Accommodation - $50
Transport - TBA
For those of you who don't have any of the necessary clothing, you can also hire it along with the equipment - look here for further cost details

TIRED of the hills we pass off as mountains here in Oz? This year we’re going to NZ!
What it is: A week of skiing/riding, après partying, amazing scenery and fun!
What is included:
- 7 nights’ accommodation at Queenstown's Nomads hostel, located in the centre of town
- Return airfares between Sydney and Queenstown flying Virgin Pacific Blue
- Transfers to and from the mountains for each day of skiing/ riding and Airport Transfers in Queenstown.

Snowsports clubs have been fighting a bitter battle with summer for decades. In 2011, ANU Snowsports is making a stand! What it is: A fun filled weekend of surfing, sun and beer. What is included: 4 surf lessons, all the gear, 2 nights’ accommodation, transport, and dinner on the first night.
